What are Code and Trust's terms of service?
Code and Trust's Terms and Conditions govern use of codeandtrust.com and any services provided by Code and Trust LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company. These terms cover acceptable use of the website, intellectual property ownership, limitation of liability, and the governing law (South Carolina) for any disputes.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using codeandtrust.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use this website. Code and Trust LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time — continued use of the site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of material changes to these Terms via an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
Use of the Website
codeandtrust.com is provided for informational and business purposes only. You may not use the site to scrape, harvest, or aggregate data using automated tools; reverse engineer any part of the site; submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form; or take any action that could harm the site's infrastructure, reputation, or users.
We reserve the right to block or terminate access for any user who violates these acceptable use requirements, without notice and without liability.
Intellectual Property
All content on codeandtrust.com — including text, images, logos, code, graphics, and service descriptions — is owned by Code and Trust LLC or its licensors and is protected by US copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without prior written permission from Code and Trust LLC.
Intellectual property in work product delivered to clients transfers to the client per the terms of the individual written service agreement for that engagement. These Terms do not grant any client rights to Code and Trust's proprietary frameworks, internal tooling, or pre-existing intellectual property.
Service Agreements
Use of Code and Trust services is governed exclusively by separate written agreements signed by both parties for each engagement. These Terms and Conditions apply to use of the website only — they do not constitute a service agreement, a commitment to provide services, or a representation that services are available for any particular project or client.
Submitting a form or initiating a discovery call does not create a contractual obligation on either party. A signed statement of work or service agreement is required to establish any service relationship.
Limitation of Liability
Code and Trust LLC's total liability for any claim arising from your use of this website or our services is limited to the total amount you have paid Code and Trust under any applicable service agreement in the 12 months immediately preceding the claim. Code and Trust is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
This limitation applies to all claims, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and whether or not Code and Trust has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of consequential damages — in those jurisdictions, liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Disclaimer of Warranties
codeandtrust.com is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Code and Trust LLC makes no warranties about the website's availability, accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or freedom from viruses or malicious code.
While we make reasonable efforts to maintain accurate and up-to-date information, we do not warrant that any content on this site is complete, correct, or current. Information on this site does not constitute legal, financial, or technical advice.
